Not exactly as expected
I should have read the description. My bad. There is no actual fly/zipper. Husband said that would drive him crazy. He has these shorts in other styles that he loves so much he is wearing them out. I was trying to replace those.

Sorry to say but these are not the same quality ...
Sorry to say but these are not the same quality shorts as the Gramicci G shorts of ten or more years ago. The cotton is stiffer, unlike the soft but tough cotton of the older shorts and the pockets; don't get me started on the pockets. They ripped very early as did the outside pocket corners on both sides of both pairs, along with the crotches of both pairs. Made in Vietnam and very shoddy workmanship. I'll not be buying any more.

Simply the best
Purchased my first pair of Gramicci shorts about 30 years ago. Wore them to death. They are the most comfortable and nice looking shorts I've own before or since. They never wore out as dozens of others have. Eventually spill paint on them in a bone head move and they had to go in a pairing down for a move. Its like being reunited with an old friend to find them here on Amazon.
