This product that exactly what I needed it to do. I had a steel exterior door that needed a hold for a dead lock. With this device, I was able to place the holes exactly in the right spot to install the deadlock without any issues. Pros: Accurate and easy to use. Can do multiple size doors. Drill cut perfectly through the metal and the wood. Cons: The drills are made of strong metal that easily cut through my door. The guide itself is made of plastic, which is not an issue. If you are careful with it, it will last a long time. Tips: make sure you are drilling your whole straight and level or you will have serious problems installing your locks.

Inexpensive, not like my $300 set. It worked great. Only negative is screw damages door edge on doors with fiber-wood edges. So sanding and filling is necessary

I recently purchased the Geinxurn Door Lock Installation Kit for a simple door project, hoping it would make the process faster and easier. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The product looked fine at first, but when I started to set it up, I immediately noticed that the overall build quality was not solid. The plastic parts felt light and unstable, and the alignment guide didn’t stay firmly in place. Before I could even complete one proper cut, one of the components broke, making the entire kit useless. It literally broke before any real use, which shows that the material quality is very poor. I was expecting something sturdy enough to handle light or medium-duty work on wooden doors, but this kit simply doesn’t hold up. The hole saws included in the kit also did not cut smoothly — they felt dull and wobbly even with careful use. The guide template didn’t stay centered, so the holes were off alignment. This tool might look like a good value, but in reality, it’s not worth the money. I ended up finishing the project using my older tools, which worked much better than this new kit. Overall, the concept of this product is useful, but the quality and stability are not acceptable. I would not recommend this kit to anyone looking for a reliable or long-lasting tool. It broke before I could even get one complete use out of it. Size is perfect for both saw.

This works for aligning deadbolt lock holes with door thickness between 1 3/8 to 1 ¾ inch. Along with the 2 common basket depths 2 3/8 and 2 ¾. To help with aligning this to the door it has 4 plastic spring tension tabs. The first received 1 tab was broken so I requested a replacement. The replacement had the same broken tab. I decided to see how much of an issue it would be. I lined it up on the door and as I expected it was in an angle. I was able to hold it where it should be and start two end screws to hold it in place. Once the screws held it in place everything was perfect. With or without the alignment tabs I would still visually line it up to start the end screws.

Worked perfect. Not really made to fit mobile home doors (with the seal lip around it) but I used a clamp to gently hold it to the door and it worked perfectly. Every thing you need to install your door lock, in my case adding dead bolt locks to our entry doors. Good value for the cost. EASY TO USE for installation. Pretty durable. I put it up. If I ever need it again it's good for multiple door lock/knob installations.

Bought this to bore a hole in a new entry steel door. By far, the cheapest option as I searched HD, Harbor Freight, and here. I like that you get the option of 2 3/4 or 2 3/8, which are the most popular sizes. However, it constantly fell off the door during the drilling process and took far longer than it should've imo to get the main hole done. Just wasn't strong enough. The worst part, though, was the arbor bit for the latch and strike plate holes -- the cuts it felt are jagged, not clean, and while the job is done it looks extremely amateur.
