Justice League - The New 52: Superman Action Figure

This New 52 version of the Man of Steel is a well detailed. The figure has pretty basic articulation so if you like highly articulated figures you may be a tad disappointed. There is also a slight indentation on the right side of the figures jaw. This is a molding issue and not something that is exclusive only to my copy of this figure. From what I have seen, everyone who has purchased this figure has this same facial defect. This defect is also present in the "Trinity War" box set version as well. It's not something that completely distracts you from the sculpt however. At least for me it doesn't. The cape on the figure is made of a soft plastic/rubber material and it has a black S shield logo on it which is a nice touch. It may be difficult to see in the photos, but there is some great line sculpting throughout the suit which looks very nice. This Superman is based on the artwork of Jim Lee and it captures Lee's style beautifully. DC has put out many Superman figures throughout the years and I truly feel this one is at the top of the list of great Superman figures. If you are looking to add a Superman for your collection, this is the one to pick up. This is a great display piece. I hope this review has helped you :)

I am extremely pleased with this DC Collectibles Action Figure... Currently I own the entire set of these New 52 Justice League Action Figures and all fantastic sculpting and painting. I had planned on only picking up the original seven members of the Justice League, but have been so impressed with their quality that I plan on expanding my collection with the New 52 Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and Shazam Action Figures as well. I highly recommend these figures to any comic and/or toy collector.

sculpt and paint are superb (although to be honest i'm not exactly sold on his wind-swept hairstyle, doesn't really do it for me but i'm sort of indifferent in the long run so whatever), the only complaint i would have is only worth noting if you plan on keeping the figure in its package. the packaging is sort of bland, being mostly white and gray, and more importantly, the figure itself is sort of blocked by some of the packaging, which i found to be sort of annoying... not annoyed enough to not give it a 5 star, but worth noting

I bought this for my son who loves superheroes. It's not a crude toy, but a well-made and aesthetically pleasing model. Despite that, it has withstood many hours of rough play and still looks as good as new. My (and my son's) only problem is the cape: it's plastic and cleans easily, but is rather rigid and does not look natural. I believe a textile one would be better. Not a cheap toy, but a good one - Superman lovers, regardless of age, will definitely like it.

This is my favorite Superman figure now in fact its the only superman figure I own now lol any way I am very happy to recieve this today now just to let you know this is'nt the classic superman where he his wearing a blue suit and red underwear this particular superman is more mondern looking which to me is fantastic I'm saying the classic is good at all but I do perfer more modern looking than anything but there's an old saying "Nothing cant beat the classic's" sorry that was alittle cheesy but honestly who care's. The paint application is very well done on mine except there is black paint streaming down off his forehead which looks kinda odd I dont know if it's all the figure's but other than that looks great. I would highly recommend this to any collector's for sure but get this while you still can cause I can see this figure going up for sure, I will explain articulation below. Articulation: head is on a ball joint, knees go in out, elbow goes in out, shoulders move's 180 degrees (both), bicept's move's left and right. Height: 6 inches Articulation score: 9.5 out of 10 Paint: 10 out of 10 My overall score: A very high 10

I'm not a real big fan of the New 52 redesigned Superman suit, but this figure does it as much justice as it can. The pain job on the suit is fine, but the face and hair are a little sloppy. I still prefer the classic outfit, but the figure has a good build quality and is faithful to the new look. Fine for older kids, but younger ones will break it pretty easily. Really, this is designed to be displayed. Side note - since when did kids action figures cost $25 a pop? Back in MY day...[insert rant here].

I bought four of these around Christmas. Three for my small nephews and one for my own son. We wrapped them in new Superman pj's and handed them out on Christmas and they were a huge hit with all the boys. The quality is amazing. Toy is durable. Definitely an item from the New 52 that I plan on adding to my own personal DC collection.

awesome! very articulate and well made. best looking superman figure for your jla collection. he comes with a mischievous smile! his cape is rubbery and the figure is very solid- durable. he is posable and a real collectors item. along with aquaman, the best in this line from dc comics
