PROS: 1. SNAG-FREE DESIGN -- The scarf holders being sold now have been redesigned and no longer have breaks in the metal to create snags (at least mine didn't). The packaging even states that they are the "snag-free design". I put very fine silk scarves in mine as well as scarves that are so delicate they are almost gauze-like and I haven't had any problems. 2. 18 HOLES -- This hanger has more loop holes than most of the competitors while still being a manageable size. With the other models I was either forced to buy a small army of hangers to accomodate all my scarves or I had to double or triple up on the number of scarves in each hole which made a mess any time I tried to pull one scarf out (the others in the same hole would come out with it). Now, with just a couple of these 18 hole hangers I'm all set. 3. EFFICIENT DESIGN -- I have seen similar versions of this product that add unnecessary design elements that reduce the space efficiency (one was shaped as a butterfly with holes in it here and there, as an example). But this one utilizes the full size of the hanger more efficiently by placing each hole side by side without adding any unnecessary design elements. 4. SLEEK/STURDY DESIGN -- solid construction with a chrome finish. Nice and simple. CONS: 1. SIZE -- this hanger is only 11.5" across, much shorter than a standard hanger, which is between 17" and 18". Could it be better if it were wider? Absolutely. But it still is quite functional even at its petite size. 2. ONLY FOR DRESS SCARVES -- This scarf holder won't work for a lot of heavy winter scarves or fur scarves. With the exception of the large hole in the bottom center, the holes are way too small for anything really bulky. It is really meant primarily to hold lighter weight materials - silk, viscose, rayon, etc. All in all, this hanger does exactly what I need it to do in a simple, compact, snag-free design. I definitely recommend it.

I have many scarves and wraps and these hangers are very sturdy and hold a lot of scarves. No sign of bending even with a lot of scarves on them. Very sturdy metal hangers. Great for organizing

For years I have had my scarves draped over a hanger in my closet, which has not been ideal for either locating the scarf I'm looking for, or keeping the scarves in nice condition. I bought this product in hopes of remedying those issues. For the most part, it fits the bill. The hanger is coated and glossy in a way that makes it easy to pull a scarf out without having to wrestle, but the scarves also seem to stay put. The compartments look small, but fit even my clunkier scarves, and I was able to put more than one scarf per ring for the thinner scarves. The two downsides of this product in my opinion are: 1. The actual hanger is kind of thick and small, so it is challenging to get on and off of my closet hanging bar. This would not be an issue if this hanger was able to rotate, but since it is in a fixed position it can be challenging to get the scarves hanging toward the back. 2. It is kind of hard to see/hang the scarves on the lower rings. The scarves on the top rings are easy to see, but you kind of have to dig both to view the scarves on the lower rings and find space when re-hanging the scarves. That said, I'm overall quite happy with this organizer, especially for the price point. It's much better than my previous standard hanger method.

Great for scarfs to keep organized

I like this scarf hanger, I bought it for womens' dress scarves, not winter scarves, and think the holes are likely too small overall for the more wintery outdoor-wear scarves (the larger ones are probably ok), but for what I'm using it for it's great, and smooth - nothing to snag on from what I can tell. So far so good. Happy to have bought this one.

I ordered one of these for my wife. A couple of issues keep this "good" product from being a "great" 5-star product. First, the quality. The entire thing is made from what looks like just two or three pieces of metal, welded together at certain points to keep it from coming apart. Most of the welds on ours are smooth and have no burrs, like those others buying this have found. However, where the two end points of metal come together in two different spots, the quality is poor and there are sharp edges that could, potentially, snag a fine scarf. I think a bit of smooth tape around these will be all that ours needs to be functional for my wife. Still, the maker should be aware of this and realize that people with expensive scarves to store need a completely smooth product. Next, the size of the hanger. We have pre-fab closet inserts in our closets that were made in the late 90's. Many of you probably have these as well - brown particle board partitions with round aluminum rods for hangers. The opening between the end of the hanger and the bend where it straightens is just a bit too small to go over our hanger rods. And when I say "a bit," I mean a millimeter or less. I was able to open up the hanger opening using a couple of wrenches and brute force - the metal is very hard and sturdy but it bent enough that we can now, barely, get the hanger onto our rods. Those of you without the strength or tools to do this might want to verify that your hanger rods will accept this. If your hanger rods are thicker than 1-3/8" as ours are, then you should look elsewhere. It looks like these were made to go over rods no larger than 1-1/4". Had the manufacturer made the hanger straight down this would have fit with no problems but that extra bend means this item won't fit over a lot of hanger bars. If they were to fix these two issues, this would easily be a five-star product because it is solid and will last forever. We were able to slightly modify ours to work so we will keep it. But, honestly, if I had known about these issues beforehand, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Wish I would have thought to search for this item far sooner. It did not disappoint in any way. The price point is very reasonable, the scarfs do not snag on the holder at all, and I had my scarfs all organized on this holder in a swift fashion. Wow, what a difference and so convenient to access and also to return scarves. Highly recommend!

Great! Strong and sturdy, and holds alot!

Nachdem ich diverse dieser Bügel klein gekriegt habe, obwohl diese auch nicht immer billiger waren, schien mir Metall die richtige Wahl zu sein. Und tatsächlich, der Bügel ist extrem stabil und gut verarbeitet. Dass das Platzangebot zu klein ist, kann ich nicht bestätigen - was wird denn bitteschön erwartet? Es passen locker 25 Schals und Tücher drauf, wenn man die großen Öffnungen mehrfach bestückt. Damit dürften viele Frauen wohl fürs Erste auskommen. Ist man natürlich Schal-Fetischist (und ich bin einer!) und will man auch noch Gürtel oder was weiß ich was unterbringen, reicht ein einziger Bügel natürlich nicht aus. Auch für dicke Winterschals ist das Teil nicht so gut geeignet, aber man kann schließlich nicht alles haben.
