fantastic!
These faux silk panels are an exceptional value for such great quality. My mother wanted to turn her living room curtains to white but has a large sliding glass door that requires many panels that need tab tops or grommets. When we stumbled across these on Amazon, she decided to take a chance since the price was so good. First, these are wider than panels I have purchased at Brylane or in stores. 56" wide as opposed to 40" - this means fewer panels needed to create a full look. Second, the quality is amazing for such a low price - approximately $10 a panel as of this writing, for the grommets. The curtains have some weight to them so they don't feel cheap. They do allow light through, but are not see-through so you can maintain privacy without mini-blinds or lining. Plus, the wrinkles came out easily with a quick ironing. I was so impressed with my Mom's curtains, I went ahead and ordered several panels in Mandarin for my kitchen, which are a true brilliant orange color (not off red or brick), and then purchased the turquoise for my library. Again, the color was true and I am completely satisfied! Moreover, Stylemaster also sells white panels trimmed in the colored faux silk, Stylemaster Soho 55 by 63-Inch Sheer Grommet Panel with Faux Silk Border, Turquoise . I purchased two of the turquoise full panels and put one of the white panels trimmed in turquoise between them to provide more light. They matched perfectly and look fantastic! I cannot recommend these curtain panels enough. Great quality, reasonable price and free shipping for Prime members. I will definitely buy more the next time I want to change a room. I will never buy curtains from Brylane again.

Gorgeous curtains at an amazing price!
I just redecorated my living room and have been searching all over the web and in every store I could think of for just the right curtains to go with my new furniture. I wish I had seen these first! Even after reading such positive reviews, I was still very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these drapes. They look just like real silk and have a nice feel and weight to them. I also love the way they filter the sunlight without blocking it altogether. I have paired them with fabric Roman shades, so I am not using them for privacy. I ordered the emerald which is a gorgeous shade of green--not too bright, not too dull--exactly as pictured. My only problem now is that I received a swatch of the avocado fabric in the package and now I can't decide which color looks better with my decor...so I ordered those as well! If I still can't choose I might try doubling them up (grommets rock!) for an even more luxurious look. At this price, I would still be paying less for 95" panels than I would for most of what I've seen out there. Even buying fabric and making them myself (which I'd investigated) would have cost a fortune and I wouldn't have had these awesome grommet tops. I would highly recommend these to anyone and will post some images soon.

5-star curtains - with issues
These curtains offer three really important 5-star qualities: (1) the color is beautiful: rich, deep, and true to the color on the website; (2) the fabric drapes really well and has the pleasantly nubby look of raw silk; (3) the grommets are a great, deep-brass color (somewhere between copper and black), which gives them a "seasoned," sort of antique look. Basically, they do not look like inexpensive or cheaply made curtains. However, they also have two characteristics that can be less than ideal for some potential buyers, which is why I gave them a 4-star rating instead of 5 stars: the fabric is very thin, so it lets in a lot of light and may not give you sufficient privacy, depending on your circumstances; also, they wrinkle very easily and the wrinkles are hard to remove, even after ironing and hanging them for a long time. All in all, and given these caveats, I love these curtains and highly recommend them.

Impressive quality for the price
These curtains are beautiful, absolutely love them. To be honest, I was not impressed when I first opened the package and took the curtains out. They looked a little too shiny, which gave them a cheap look. But I felt like I couldn't really tell what they looked like straight out of the package because of all of the creases. So I ironed them, and am so glad I did, what a difference. Ironing out all of the creases definitely softened their sheen. I would describe them as semi-opaque. Based on some of the reviews I was afraid they would be too sheer, but they are just what I was looking for - you can't see through them but they are not blackout curtains so they allow light to softly filter through. I got white and cobalt - the white is a beautiful bright white and the cobalt is rich and vibrant. Interestingly, more light seems to filter through the cobalt than the white. The texture is like shantung silk, very elegant. I would have preferred brushed nickel grommets, but fortunately you don't notice the grommets too much after the curtains are hung. I've posted photos, in the second photo I pulled the curtains back a little so you can see the contrast with/without the curtain. I bought 12 panels to cover 2 90-inch wide windows. Unbelievable quality for the price, highly recommend.

Persistent wrinkles!
These look okay, except they are wrinkled when they arrive and the wrinkles do not fall out. I hung them for a couple of weeks thinking they would look better. When that didn't work, I put them in the dryer and air fluffed them. That did nothing either. I haven't tried steaming them, but may do that next. I bought them for my living room window that faces the street. They are paper thin, lightweight and transparent at night - almost as bad as sheers. I decided to use them on the sliding glass door facing the back yard instead of returning them. They look nice, except for the wrinkles and this door doesn't need privacy drapes. If you are looking for something to block the view or for privacy, these are not the drapes to buy. Otherwise, they are a good buy - if you can remove the wrinkles.

Nice curtains!
OMG, lol! Well, let me explain something. I purchased these originally for decorating the outside windows of my patio. I had this bright idea to make the outside of the patio look as great as the inside of the house. Well, when I tried to put a nail in the side slats on the outside wall, I could not do it. I thought about drilling a hole in the slats to put the screws in to hang this with. But changed my mind. So, what to do with the curtains, now. Well, I had thought about adding another color to my living room, and chose red. I had purchased a red oriental rug to put in my living room, and when I got it, I noticed that the red curtains would be perfect with the red rug, and the red pillows I was about to cover with another color. So, these curtains went in my living room, and after everything was changed, my living room now has a totally new look, just changing the curtains, and changing the rugs. It hangs well, making a nice look to the window treatment. They are light enough to allow sun to come thru, yet heavy enough to filter out harsh bright light. When you first get this curtain (the package only contains one drape), it will need ironing or pressing. Big time. But once you have that done, and hang up the curtains, you will stand back and admire their looks. I could not be more pleased with my set (yes, I bought two) of curtains. Oh, and I thought the price was just right for the nice curtains I got.

MANDARIN IS GORGEOUS!! Let me explain the color to you!!
Ok.... I had been searching for orange faux silk panels that were not gaudy and I found them here!!! I bought the 95 length and unlike some of the other readers, mine were all the same length. All 6 panels. They are unlined with a slight sheen like REAL silk. Ever so slightly textured they provide privacy with a soft glow of light allowed through. The Mandarin color is truly the color you see on the 84 length pic. It is RICH - not obnoxious or florescent. I would call it a true medium deep orange. Not rust or copper colored but lighter than "burnt orange". A true rich color. I have a copper mirror on my mantle and it looks great!! It is not "copper" mind you...it is a true orange. If you go to "wally world" and look at Krylon fusion spray paint?? Look for "Gloss Orange" and that will match it. I love them and have received a TON of compliments even from guys who most could care less about interior design. If they are wrinkled go to your local Dollar G store and get their generic wrinkle releaser spray and hang and spray them. It doesn't stain, they smell fresh and the wrinkles literally disappear before your eyes!! Great for clothing too (I hate ironing!! LOL!) Get the generic, it smells better and works better and cheaper too!! The grommets on these are really nice too and move smoothly across a wood pole. Listen I have paid major bucks for Chris Maddens faux silk drapes, had problems with them and had to return and re- purchase. I still received defective, and paid more for them!! I wish I had seen these first, because these look just as nice, have no issues and are priced phenomenally!!! I highly recommend these drapes!! I love them so much, I am looking to put some others in my daughter's room!! Enjoy!! I say it the way it is, so if there were issues?? You would know it!! :) Remember the true color is on the 84 length for the 95 length in Mandarin!! Hope this helped you~ :)

Could not be happier
I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I'm repainting and "spiffing up" the house before putting it on the market so everything is supposed to be neutral. Under normal conditions I would probably have chosen one of the brighter colors like Crimson or Mandarin but I went with the Sand and it was a good choice. It's more of a gold color than a beige which helps make the room brighter without being harsh. Hanging at my windows, the color more closely matches the appearance of the Saffron color on my monitor. The panels did have to be washed and ironed before they were hung, though. I tried just hanging them to see if the packing wrinkles would come out but, after more than a week, they were still there. Since I'm doing two windows I have four panels. The first pair I followed the instructions and washed them in cold water then line dried them. The wrinkles were still very noticeable so I ironed them on the acrylic/rayon setting (medium on my iron) and they ironed out beautifully even though they were dry. The second pair I washed but ironed them without line drying thinking the wrinkles might come out faster with the fabric damp. Wrong! The wrinkles didn't really come out until the heat from the iron had dried the fabric — *then* they came out. My attempt to complete the chore quicker ended up taking longer. Lesson learned. Once they had been washed and ironed they really look great at the windows. They hang very nicely and the grommets provides nice even folds. Amazingly, they look just like the pictures! There is enough of a sheen to them that they could easily be mistaken for silk by casual observation. I would describe them as semi-sheer as they let plenty of light through but still provide a level of privacy. I hope Amazon continues to carry them until I'm in my next house. I wouldn't hesitate to use them there (just not so neutral! :-D ).
