Works fine for our Smart TV at good price
Worked fine for our use which was for our Smart TV! Always good to get a quality product for a reasonable price on Amazon. You don't need Monster Cables for most applications.

Complete HDMI Review
When it comes to HDMI Cables, there are two things to consider. The signal and the build. In my review I will cover both aspects of this cable. The signal: When it comes to the signal, there is only 4 possible answers : Does it play video, does it not. Does it play sound, does it not. Purchasing 'expensive name brand cables will not improve these answers. They either work, or they dont. In the case of these cables, I purchased 5 total, and every single one of them worked right out of the bags. Each one was packaged separately in clear plastic bags, and all had plastic tip covers over the ends. They all arrived in perfect condition with no exposed wires, no bent tips, and functioning just fine. The build: When it comes to the build, there are more strict things to consider. Interference through the insulation, amount of data throughput of the cable, longevity of the insulation and solders, and of course HDCP compliant. Interference: I tested the cables being run through an xbox one, to a 4k tv from samsung. Placed directly next to the cables, I sat a microwave (about three feet from it) A cordless phone running on frequency 6.0, a cell phone, and my wifi dual band router on 2.4 and 5 ghz. During gameplay, each one was in use *at one point all at the same time* and there was no interference what so ever with these cables. Data Throughput: The cables worked just fine displaying 3D content running from a bluray player to the TV. HDCP compliance: The cables are HDCP compliance and allow for the securities to sink. * I do not know however if these cables will be HDCP 2.2 compliant as I have no equipment to test. So far, all testing makes no difference between these cables, and extremely expensive cables you would purchase elsewhere. Longevity: This is where the difference shows. The test: disconnecting and reconnecting the cables in a 'firm' hdmi port 50 times daily until breakage happens. First Test was pulling from the cable *the improper way most people do who are in a hurry using the thin cable and not the housing* Results: After 2 days, and 127 disconnects and reconnects, the cord disconnected from the housing. Second Test was proper disconnect using the housing. Results: After 5 days, and 237 disconnects, the HDMI connector broke loose from the housing and is no longer functional. Conclusion: Based off of the price of the cables, the usage, and longevity, these cables still recieve a full 5 stars. Running these tests on more expensive cables will yield a better build and longevity, however for the price, you could purchase many of these cables for 'replacement' when breakage happens, and still spend a hell of a lot less over the years. And that is only if you are a person who consistently plugs and unplugs the cable ( as in the case of a laptop or tablet hook up) If you are using the cables say, for your home theater equipment, or running from desktop computers to monitors or perminant overhead projectors, then the longevity tests in play are non-existent. On a side note: I am not sure if each purchase is supplied by the same people. When writing this review, it shows that the product is shipped and sold by EpicDealz. However when I made the purchase back in Dec, it was shipped and sold by HYUNTEC. Hyuntec is in china, and it took over a month before I recieved my cables. So if you are in a pinch and need the cable immediately, this is not the way to go... however if you are simply looking to get a few cables to have around the house , or replace existing cables (going from vga to HDMI) The price is more than worth it for the wait.

Works for me.
OK. First things first. This review is for the 6 food Category 2 HDMI cable that sells for $2.95 (at present) Next, I have owned this cable for one day. It just arrived in the mail this afternoon. Therefore, this review is based upon my initial impressions. And the fact that it seems perfectly functional and I have no issues with it so far. So. I ordered this cable to be used with a Philips HD media player because the HDMI cable that I was using was just way too short. I remember paying a lot for that cable and not really wanting to pay a lot for it but not really knowing there was an alternative. Anyway, I needed to move the media player farther away from the TV and obviously, a short cable makes that impossible. I wanted a longer cable but I didn't want to pay a lot because frankly, it's just painful to pay a lot for a cable. Even if I kind of can see where an HDMI cable is quite a bit more complicated than, say, a composite cable. It makes sense to me that it might be more costly to manufacture a perfect HDMI cable. So in a way, I can understand an HDMI cable costing at least $10. But I didn't want to pay that. I had no idea what to expect really. Because $2.95 with free shipping is less than the price of a meal at a fast food joint. But for such a small sum I was willing to take a chance. When the cable arrived, the only thing I really noticed upon inspection was that it's a little bit thinner than more expensive cables. But it's not as thin as I was expecting after reading some of the reviews here. It looks and feels thick enough to handle the job it's made for. If you plug it in and forget it, it should be fine. Obviously, it's nothing fancy. There's no fancy bling on the plugs or the sheathing. The connectors do appear to be gold plated but I'm far from an expert in gold plating and I wouldn't know fake gold if I saw it. Nevertheless, it shouldn't really matter. I've been using cheap RCA cables with no gold plating all my life and the only thing that ever killed them was if the wire inside broke or something. I kind of doubt HDMI is any more demanding on that aspect of things. At any rate, I honestly don't know how they can make a profit selling these at this price. I mean, you can tell by looking at it that it's nothing fancy but it still costs money to manufacture and ship them to the US from China. Finally, the application I bought this for is not that demanding. The media player is technically an HD player but I never play anything more demanding than 720P (My TV won't go above 720P, actually) and the sound and video seems just fine with this cable. I can't see or hear a bit of difference and now I have a cable that's long enough to put the player where I want to. It remains to be seen if this cable will last a while (if it lasts a couple of years it's well worth the couple of dollars). But as I see it at the moment, this is probably one of the best deals I've ever gotten on Amazon. 5 stars on value alone.

Great cables but not the same design
I would recommend these cables because they are extremely affordable and work exactly like the more expensive options available on this website. I have had these cables and use them daily and have never had a problem with them. The HDMI cables produce an image that is crystal clear. The sound quality is just as great as the image. The cables are made out of a strong rubber material that will not deteriorate over time. I am sure that they will last a very long time and up until now have exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that the cables depicted on Amazon are not the same as the ones that I received. The ones I received do not have the same design or are even shaped like the ones in the picture. I have attached a picture so you can see the difference. Personally, this is a minor issue for me. I do no care much for the aesthetics of the cables. My sole concern is that these cables perform well and so far they are performing superbly. If you are interested in saving money and getting two cables for the price of one, then I would highly recommend this product. If you are looking for the cables that look like exactly like l the ones being advertised, then I suggest you look elsewhere for that product.
