Vizari Astro Soccer Ball

I'm very happy with this soccer ball. I've played for a long time and bought this for 7/8 year old nephews. Its held up really nice through the summer use so far. Color is great and can't beat the quality for the price you pay. Won't get much better until you pay double the price.

To preface this, my son is a high level club player, so he sees a lot of soccer balls. His personal favorite ball is either a select ball, or a t90 soccer ball. However, he went through a three month span where he lost three moderately expensive balls, so we wanted to find something a little cheaper until he learned to be more responsible. First, this ball is a good value. However, it is not without its flaws. Out of the box, it is VERY smooth, annoyingly smooth to the point where it has very little grip. He kicked it on the concrete to scuff it up to give it a little feel. Some people might be annoyed by this, but a soccer ball is a tool, so the appearance doesn't matter as long as it plays properly. Second, the ball bounces less than a regular soccer ball at proper PSI (and airing it up too much makes it hard as a brick), which is good for a ball on the field, but he sees it as a "cheater ball" since you can go for a long ball and have a much easier time getting the ball under control (not as much as a futsal ball, but a lot less than a regular ball). Juggling he says feels a little strange with this ball because of the low bounce. For the money though, it is a great value, but just realize that there are some caveats.

I was recently shopping for a new ball for my 5 year old and all the size threes in the store looked really small compared to the Vizari Astro size 3 that I had bought on Amazon. When I got home I looked up what the official size of a size 3 ball is -- it's 23-24 inches circumference. The Vizari Astro size 3 measure at 25 inches, which makes it officially a size 4. It's been about six months since I bought the ball, so no chance of returning it, but thought I may be able to help other buyers with this info.BTW, the ball actually says "Size 3 Official" in a big logo. Don't believe what you read!

I wanted to like this ball, but it stopped holding air after about 6 months of only occassional use and being stored indoors. I bought it for my 4-year old son to practice with outside of his soccer class. It has a nice feel, good colors and graphics. The outside doesn't show much wear. However, it started losing air slowly, and then so rapidly that it just couldn't be played with anymore. Kinda makes me sad.

My son asked for this ball because green is his favorite color, as well as his team color. I liked the low price. The ball came deflated and we inflated it with a hand pump the evening it arrived. By the next morning the ball was half flat. It would not hold air at all. We never even played with it all. Amazon returned it for a full refund. I'm not sure if I got a defective item, or if it's just a low quality ball, but I will not be ordering another one.

Came un-inflated, but that's just fine, it's easier to ship that way. Why would someone complain about a ball not being inflated, when you'll invariably need to inflate it at some time anyway? Once inflated (every parent should have a ball pump anyway, which you can get on Amazon for just a few dollars regardless), it has been completely 100% perfect for my three and a half year old.

I never write reviews but I realized that I do 99.9% of my shopping online and 99.5% of my online ison Amazon and 100% of my decision is based on customer feedback ... so I'm changing my ways!We give several Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and after doing research soccer balls are abig request. We got this ball and deflated it easily and it fit in the box great. We hope it bringsa child a lot of joy!

I bought this soccer ball for my duaghter's school where she is working through the Peace Corps in a very impoverished area in Grenada, West Indies. I had the ball sent to my home and then I put a care package together with the ball, and a pump, along with other items needed, and sent it to her. When the ball arrived it was defective and would not hold the air. Unfortunately it will cost more to ship it back for a refund than the ball is worth. These children have very little playground equipment and I was hoping to put smiles on thier faces by providing a soccer ball. I was so disappointed that they will not recieve a useful soccer ball to play with.

Looked great when we received it. It had some hard use and due to the hard use most of the color has come off the ball.

Good ball for the price. Ordered two, one holds air much better than the other.

Unhappy with this purchase. The soccer ball I received looks nice but won't hold air pressure. We pump it up with a hand pump and it works for a brief period.

Got this for my 30 lbs Labradoodle to play with, she loved it to death until she managed to pop it. I should note that this seems to be larger than a size 3 ball (more like a size...

Great ball. Does what it's supposed to and looks pretty fly.
