Love these.
First off these are not comfort cushions, they are for rub relief. I bought these to wear in a pair of pumps that were just a little too big. They make the pumps fit perfectly and keep them from rubbing the tops of my toes. I plan to order several more a pair and snip the toes out of at least one pair to try them with a pair of peep toe pumps that rub the tops of my big toes with a sharp seam (I will be using my sewing machine to reinforce the seam after cutting so it doesn't fray apart). However, reading the reviews there seems to numerous complaints about them showing from the edge of your shoes. So for those who are complaining that they show over the top of your pumps, they are meant to be trimmed to fit your shoe, hence the photo of them being trimmed with a pair of scissors. Put them on, slip on your shoes and mark them at the edge of the shoe with a pen and then take them off and trim them up with a pair of scissors. Not all shoes are cut the same, it would be ridiculous to expect them to fit perfectly in every style of shoe ever made, they are meant to be trimmed, it's not rocket science after all.

Didn't work for me.
These are not built for wide feet.

PERFECT solution
These pump pouches are like little miracles for me. I have extremely narrow feet, so even narrowly sized shoes do not fit well. In the winter when i must wear pumps and mules, most are too roomy - but these little devices solve my problem perfectly. They fill out the toe box just enough to eliminate my foot's moving around (due to loose fit of the shoe), and they cushion my long skinny toes from being rubbed by the toe box. I still use silicone ball of the foot pads as well, but the pump pouches are so soft that they are comfortable even if there is a little overlap with the pads. I am amazed, because i never thought i could attain even moderate comfort with closed toe shoes. I am going to buy a total of 6 so that i enough for a whole week. (Then i will probably buy 6 more just in case they stop making them, LOL.) As reported by others, i too found that they make my toes sweat, but for me it is minimal and not a problem. They are fabric, so can be washed easily. I wear one pair per day and wash them with mild soap in the evening. Update: I have washed them in the handwash cycle in my washer about 10-12 times(and air dried them) and they still look and fit like new.

These make a big difference in shoe comfort!
I purchased these at my local Rite-Aid for $8.99. They are a little cheaper on Amazon.com. In the package, there was a $1.00 off coupon, so I'll save if I buy them locally next time around. I also ordered these on Amazon.com for $8 as shown here. These are a great solution for those with foot problems including arthritic toes, bunions, hammer toes, etc. I have all three of these problems so I am really pleased that these are available. I tried them out with low heeled shoes and the only problem was that they did show somewhat. Supposedly you can trim them down, but I wouldn't want to cut off the finished edge. I wore them in a pair of Payless Comfort Plus clogs and they worked very well and they were not visible at all. The other advantage to these cushioning shoe pouches is that they allow you to wear shoes that otherwise would feel too tight in the toe area and would cause chafing otherwise. In addition, you can comfortably wear shoes without socks or hose. One concern is that they do make your feet somewhat sweaty, so you may want to have an extra pair on hand at all times. If you want to freshen them up between washes, you can lightly spray them with rubbing alcohol. (Dollar Tree sells some pretty colorful metal spray bottles for $1). I would like to see Profoot add some transparent stretchy straps to them. I find that they slipped off somewhat when I was using them over bare feet with no socks. I am going to try a few options to add stretchy straps and see what works best. You can always cut off the hanging straps that come inside most tops and dresses and sew them on or make a small hole in the pouches and then tie and knot them to your pump pouches. Some shoe liners come with stretchy straps, but they don't have the cushioning that these offer.

Give them a try.
Ok so when I got these I thought they were going to be super padded. And was a little “what the heck” when I opened it and felt they were very thin and didn’t feel padded at all. I bought them to wear in these new boots I had got that pinched my toes badly. I do have to say after wearing them for the day at work they helped a lot with the pinching. I was pleasantly surprised. I kind of wished they were a full “no show” sock style as I felt they kind of moved around in my foot a bit. But that could have just been me. Since the other foot felt fine. All in all I’m actually happy I bought them.

Love the concept but too narrow for my toes
Love the concept but too narrow for my toes. I really dislike wearing sock with my shoes but my toes are sensitive and tend to rub the toe box. These are the perfect cushion but they are too narrow. Even when I tried to trim them, they didn’t fit well.

Good idea but not impressed
They may work for some but I wasn't impressed. I have very sensitive toes...so much so that the seams of the socks cause me severe pain by the end of the day. I was hoping using these would help with that but they have seams as well that rub. They also make the shoes tighter so that just put more pressure on my toes. They are also cut completely round and as we all know our toes go from short to longer so while half the foot is completely covered the other half it barely covers the entire toe so they feel like they are sliding off on that side.I think it is a good idea but wasn't thought out and made to properly fit on the foot correctly.

Great buy!
I was pleasantly surprised by these! I used these with a pair of shoes that caused my toes to blister due to friction. I wore these all night and had no issues!! Blister-free toes! They are very soft and provided protection and light cushion for my toes and bottom of my feet. I cut them to the shape I needed and they did not show or slip in anyway! Very happy with the purchase. Also, some ppl are saying there is no gel, but there is. There’s a thin gel lining inside. You can feel it just touching the product and when you cut it (if you need to cut it), you can see the gel lining.
