okay iin all my lamp repairing this I found to work the best. I had two lamps that needed the lampshades which were victorianshades and were sent to me as a gift. Brocade with fringe..I placed this bridge shape holder and it fit perfectly. Tried the second lamp but it did not work. Why because the first lamp had a replaced socket for a three way lamp and the second one was the original socket that was probably 1/8 in larger or so. Went and bought the socket replaced it and this bridge worked perfectly on the lamp. My only suggestion for the bridge is that the three screws should be a hair longer to tighten up on the socket.

Did not fit my antique lamp.

I bought a lamp at target and then found a shade at world market, the uno ring on the shade was too big around for the (1.25") lamp socket leaving a gap around the perimeter. This little piece fit perfect around the socket, I turned it upside down and set the lamp shade on top of it. Now the shade sits at an appropriate height. The part is not visible unless you look inside the shade.

The product fits and works perfectly for an old lamp I have, it screws on to the light socket and hold the glass lamp shade with 21/4” fitter.

Ordered a couple of these for the lamps I'm renovating. Seemed like the threads were off and I had a difficult time screwing them on to the uno socket. I made them work.

I ordered the Bridge Lamp Shade Holder along with their Bridge Lamp Socket and was disappointed to learn the Bridge Lamp Shade Holder threads were too big for the Bridge Lamp Socket. I ordered three holders and not one of them worked. Additionally, I tried the Bridge Lamp Shade Holder on several sconces and bridge lamps I have around the house and it was too large for all of them.Do not order this product.
